Started his career in Chartering – graduating as Chartering Manager / Operator. He joined Sealift Antwerp which formed with L. Dreyfuss a joint-venture called LD Seals - a parcel service from Europe / UK to the Far East, later to become one of the four management owners of Sealift Antwerp. Now active as an informal investor in Shipping and Transport related start-ups.

He started his career as Commercial Manager to become a General Manager of a London based  Shipping firm  which was into Chartering, Broking, Management where he travelled widely to all the world's major ports / countries for Procurement / Supervision / Business Promotion. He returned to India to establish his own Companies - Arcadia Shipping Ltd., New Winco Impex Pvt. Ltd. &  Tristar Shipping Pvt. Ltd. He diversified into allied shipping activities like Barging, Transportation, Offshore Engineering & Construction, further establishing JV Company - NPCC Engineering Ltd. (NEL) with  National Petroleum Construction Company of Abu Dhabi (UAE). He is actively involved in his companies as their Managing Director.
